The influence of agricultural technologies on the nutritional value of vegetables

In order for a human being to get a full nutritional value of food, it is necessary to consume a variety of foods with a certain amount of calories. The nutritional value of the vegetables is determined by its content of carbohydrates, protein and far, as well as minerals and flavours. An adult needs 714 grams of food of animal sources, 1225 grams of foods from plants and 400 grams of vegetables.

Vegetables claim a major position of the nutritional intake of the people pf Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, where vegetable production has been increasing over the recent years.
